For celebrations around International Women’s Day join Women In the Food Industry in shining a spotlight on leading female voices in food sustainability and the future of food. You can take part in discussions at how we can work towards a more sustainable future for ourselves and what we can teach people coming into the industry.
With organic Prosecco & soft drinks on arrival, there will be demonstrations by Ros Rathouse – founder of Cookery School at Little Portland Street (London’s most sustainable cookery school) of delicious dishes using “surplus” fruit and vegetables from Waste Knot, keynote talks and a panel discussion including Edwina Hughes Head of Engagement for the Cool Food Pledge at the World Resources Institute , Corinna Hawkes Director of the Centre for Food Policy at City, University of London, Stephanie Wood founder of School Food Matters , Catherine Flood Curator at the V&A who curated their hugely popular Food Bigger Than the Plate exhibition and Juliet Davenport, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Good Energy – a 100% renewable energy company with a mission to power a greener, cleaner future together.
At the end of the evening each attendee will receive a goodie bag with sustainable samples from food & drinks companies including Belazu Ingredients Company.
