The Old Hall Street eatery will be celebrating the biggest retail day of the year with its very own culinary creation in the form of Black Squid Ink Pasta, which can be perfectly paired with its Black Friday Cocktail.
The duo of themed menu items have been created exclusively for Black Friday and will be available between November 23 – 25.
General Manager at Trattoria 51 Toni Karemanaj said: “Black Friday is one of the most highly anticipated calendar days of the year but it shouldn’t be confined to the world of retail. As a restaurant, we are excited to celebrate what is expected to be the busiest shopping day of the year and what better way to get involved than with our own duo of themed menu items in the form of our Black Squid Ink Pasta and our delicious Black Friday cocktail?
“Adding squid ink to our pasta gives it a striking black aesthetic, perfect for the occasion, whilst the accompanying cocktail makes the ideal winter warmer. After a busy weekend of shopping and bargain hunting, we will be on hand to help customers refuel from the day.”
Trattoria’s Black Squid Ink Pasta will include Fresh Tagliatelle Pasta with Squid Ink, Calamari, Cherry Tomatoes and Garlic whilst the Black Friday Cocktail combines Rum, Cointreau, Cranberry Sugar and Lemon Juice.
Toni added: “For those that simply want to stop for lunch or enjoy dinner with friends and family this weekend, our menu is full of options that are guaranteed to satisfy taste buds. With a variety of gluten free and vegan options to choose from too, customers will be spoilt for choice. In fact, over 95% of our menu can be made gluten-free, including our Black Squid Ink Pasta! The Black Squid Ink Pasta dish and Black Friday Cocktail will be served at both the Southport and Liverpool restaurants throughout Black Friday weekend, costing £12.95 and £6.95 respectively.
